    Currently we only ship to the US contiguous 48 states. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, US Territories and cannot deliver to islands. Also, you must have a street address.

     

    Small Parcel Delivery: (Non-freight)

    • FREE ground delivery to your door for parcel packages over $99 
    • Small items under $100 will be charged a flat shipping fee of $15. These items will be shipped via common domestic carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS).

     

    Freight Delivery Options:

    FREE Curbside Shipping:

    • Street level, curbside delivery.

    • No un-packaging, inside delivery, assembly or installation included.
    • A scheduled delivery consisting of a two-person team with a lift-gate for the delivery. Consignee must sign for the product.

    • Note: There may be exceptions where the local terminal only delivers once a week to remote areas. On these rare occasions we may take up to seven days to deliver.

    Threshold Delivery: $75

    • Product will be delivered inside the first door of the address or the lobby of an apartment/condo, does not include set-up, installation, assembly or debris removal.

    • Includes prearranged delivery day and 4 hour delivery window, customer signature at time of delivery, two (2) person delivery team, 20 minutes onsite.

    • Note: There may be exceptions where the local terminal only delivers once a week to remote areas. On these rare occasions we may take up to seven days to deliver.

    White Glove Delivery: $199

    • Includes two (2) person team, two flights of stairs and room of choice placement.

    • Includes unpacking, "light" assembly, 20 minutes onsite and debris removal.



    • Mutually agreed upon delivery date and 4 hour delivery window.

    • Note: There may be exceptions where the local terminal only delivers once a week to remote areas. On these rare occasions we may take up to seven days to deliver.

      Extra Charges & Special Shipping Needs:

      Please let us know right away if you have special shipping needs like:

      • More than two flights of stairs.
      • Delivery outside of regular delivery hours 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
      • Mattress disposal (Only available with White Glove Delivery)
      • Used product onsite relocation (Moving replaced item to curb or garage)
      • Used product disposal (Only available for White Glove or room of choice delivery. Only for products being replaced (3 item max.)
      • Weekend/holiday service (Quote)
      • Florida Keys delivery
      • Additional transportation costs (tolls, ferries)
      • Missed appointment / refusal (Charge applies to an "on-time" service that results in no service after crew arrives at destination address. If applicable, product will be returned to local Werner terminal. ($100 fee)

      Order Confirmation:

       

      As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

       

      Order Shipment:

       

      We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@fifthandmodern.com

      Large Items, like sofa’s, dressers, beds, chairs, tables, etc…These items will be shipped by third party freight companies. 1-5 days before the delivery, you will be contacted by the freight company to schedule your delivery. You will need to be present to inspect the delivery and sign for acceptance. If you are not available to accept the shipment during the agreed upon delivery time window, you will be responsible for any additional costs or fees for re-delivery and storage.

      Note -You will need the original packaging to process a return if needed.

       

      Cancellations:

       

      Orders may be cancelled prior to shipping. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges an any manufacturer’s restocking fees that apply. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

      Returns:

      Before returning an item, please contact returns@fifthandmodern.com for detailed instructions on how to proceed.

      We’re not happy, unless you’re happy. Please feel free to return any product for a refund within 10 days of delivery (minus all shipping costs and and in some cases manufacturer restock fees). Your refund will be credited back to the credit card originally used to purchase the order, within 3-5 business days after we receive your returned item.

      For a refund, your item must be in new, unused, unassembled condition and in the original packaging (clearance and open items are not eligible for return). Please note, commercial orders are not eligible for refunds.

      Damages:

      Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice even slight damage, make note of it when signing for delivery (write, “packaged damaged” when signing). If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos, name and order# to returns@fifthandmodern.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse the delivery. If this happens, please notify us immediately so we can be on the lookout for the return. Upon receipt of the package, we will ship a replacement right away.

      Cancellations:

      Orders may be cancelled prior to shipping. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges an any manufacturer’s restocking fees that apply. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

      We work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online. If you find another online store that offers a lower price then us within 30 days of your purchase date, please let us know and we will refund a portion of your original payment for the difference. We want you to feel confident that you are getting the absolute best price for the product you are ordering. If you find that our own website has lowered the price of an item you have ordered within 30 days of your purchase date, we will refund the difference as well.

      To request your partial refund, simply e-mail us at returns@fifthandmodern.com, provide a link to the same product on our competitor's website and include your order number.

      Our 30 Day Price Guarantee has some limitations:

      • Eco Ridge by Bamax products are excluded.
      • You must purchase the item from our website before requesting your Price Match Guarantee
      • Promotions such as rebates and "buy one, get one free" offers are not eligible
